  1. Read Me!

  3. SimBill is a Presidential Simulator.  A bit of political humor for 1996.  The
  4. file is large because it includes a lot of digitized sound samples from the
  5. President.  Everything included here is an actual clip from the President.
  6.  
  7. SimBill runs on both 680x0 machines and PowerPC Macs.  (There will be a Windows 
  8. version shortly and we should have a SimHill soon too).
  9.  
  10. This software is free and, as such, we can offer no warranties, express or
  11. implied, and all warranties are hereby disclaimed.
  12.  
  13. This has been tested with the following systems, all running System 7.5.1
  14. or later (7.5.2 on the 7500, and 7.5.3 beta versions on a PM 7100), with Sound 
  15. Manager 3.1 (later on the 7.5.3). You **should definitely** upgrade to 
  16. System 7 Update 2 (7.5.3) and at least Sound Manager 3.1 as it is much more 
  17. reliable and adds features, however SimBill should run on any Mac with
  18. system 7.0 or later.  You should have at least 2.5MB of free RAM.

  21. * PowerMac 7100, 6100, 7500 (PowerPCs)
  22. * PowerBook 540c (68040)

  24. If you have QuickTime™ installed, you get a couple of other additions, such as
  25. a nice morph.

  29. * For slower Macs --to improve sound-- you can move the "bill1" file out of the
  30. SimBill folder or just rename it.
